Omaha Azure User Group Meeting – October 2020 – 2

The second bi-weekly meeting for the month of October 2020 took place Wednesday, October 21st at 6 PM CT. It was an online meeting.

Topic: Microservices with AKS
Azure provides a solution for running Kubernetes clusters without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure with AKS. We will go through a quick introduction to Microservices, Kubernetes, and AKS. Then, deploying microservices applications. We will touch on some of the advanced technologies like event-driven microservices, service mesh, and DAPR.

Mike Douglas is the Director of Delivery Engineering at Lunavi specializing in architecting secure cloud-native and hybrid modern applications. He works with organizations to continuously improve their application security and compliance controls, speed of delivery, and quality through DevOps practices.
